animation

In our advanced 3D modelling course we had to create a character and then we had to animate it. I created "Walter", the son of Wilhelm Tell, since I was currently working with the Team "Gamedevelopers of Switzerland" on the game "Tell - Dawn of a Legend". After having modelled the character in 3ds Max and textured it in Photoshop, I used Maya to rig and animate the character. Then we imported the character into a test scene of the game and coded its behavior in LUA script. Thanks to Stefan Geiger and Christian Amman for their LUA and Engine support. Walter finally could not only walk around with the exact animation, he also had 3 random idle positions and could even wave. All this worked with no transition errors between the animation clips.
